Welcome to TrashMate. By subscribing to or using our services, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions:
1. Service Window

Trash should be placed outside your door between 6:00 PM – 7:00 PM on scheduled service days.

Collection begins at 7:00 PM.
2. Scope of Service
TrashMate provides doorstep pickup of bagged household waste and delivers it to the property’s designated compactor or dumpster.
3. Prohibited Items
For safety and compliance reasons, the following items will not be collected:

Loose trash or liquids
-
Paint, chemicals, batteries, or hazardous materials
-
Medical or biohazard waste
-
Appliances, furniture, or construction debris
4. Resident Responsibilities

Use tied, secure bags weighing no more than 25 pounds each.

Double-bag glass, sharps, or items that could puncture bags.
-
Keep walkways and access points clear.
-
Provide accurate unit and access information.
5. Missed or Late Bags
-
Bags set out after 7:00 PM may not be collected.

If bags are missed due to late set-out, collection will occur on the next scheduled service day.
6. Payments & Billing

All subscription plans are billed monthly in advance via Stripe.

Subscriptions renew automatically until canceled.
7. Cancellations & Refunds

You may cancel at any time before the next billing cycle.

Prorated refunds are not guaranteed. At TrashMate’s discretion, credits may be issued for documented service issues.
8. Access & Safety
TrashMate reserves the right to refuse service if:

Access is blocked, or
-
Conditions are unsafe for our team.
9. Holidays & Weather
Service schedules may shift during holidays or severe weather events. Subscribers will be notified in advance via email or SMS.
10. Liability

TrashMate is not responsible for leaks, pests, or damage caused by improper bagging or prohibited items.

Our maximum liability for any claim is limited to the equivalent of one month of service fees.
11. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of TrashMate services after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
